Agreed on the badassery; for most of the Last Battle I was thinking "Now why the fvck weren't all the Forsaken like this for the last half-dozen books!?"

As for calling things:
I called Demandred and Shara as well, though I wasn't absolutely sure of it until I saw Roedran's behavior near the beginning and ruled him out. I also called the Horn not being attuned to Mat anymore, and kept thinking I'd missed something when everyone was scrambling to get it back to him; glad to see I was vindicated.

I've been impressed with my girlfriend's work before, but until she manages to obtain the expensive clay and makes a Disqord figure, this will be my favorite of hers (tied with her 3rd Doctor).

I assume this has significance outside of the bronydom.

Because having an awesome SO is great and should be shared.
Having a lying harlot bitch SO can also be shared, but it's less fun.

Hey now, if she's a harlot, sharing could be a lot of fun.

If you're in to that.
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

It's less fun when she's a harlot to all her friends and a virgin to you. I don't care if she runs around if I'm getting what I want at home. Women can't help cheating, it's in their genetics and I don't blame them any more than I blame my cat for crapping in sand because that's just how their brains are put together and they can't help it.

What a chauvinistic and misogynistic theory you hold, Count.

It's Count. Does he make any posts that don't reveal some foul new facet of his psyche?

I'd say he makes plenty that don't reveal some new foul facet of his psyche.

The misogyny is actually pretty old.

That's a fair criticism. I'll have to explore new foul facets of my psyche to share. Maybe I'll take up doing jenkem as a hobby.

Wat?

There are certainly genetic effects on behavior, and genes certainly propagate based on their ability to make their host more reproductively fit, and so I have almost no doubt there is a genetic component to infidelity on both sides of the spectrum (whether encouraging or inhibitory or both). But that is a far cry from "I am a slave to my DNA and have no personal accountability." For example, you are also a slave to environmental influences and society's norms and circumstance, and insofar as it is possible to assign personal accountability at all we assign personal accountability to those things.

So either you are the chillest don't care about anything "it's all just fate's hand, man - we're not accountable for anything, things just happen and sometimes those things look like we did them but we didn't, it's just predestination" dude ever, or you are wrong in a creepy, evil way and think women specifically are more like preprogrammed simple insects than intelligent, social creatures capable of being shaped (i.e. learning) by their environment. I'm reasonably sure the Y chromosome isn't the chromosome behind 90% of the human brain.

I'm pretty sure the genetics comment is a far deeper shade of misogyny than we've seen from the Count before, though. He's said a lot of things about women which are technically true, but misleading. He's shared a lot of anecdotes which are presumably true and which universally paint the females in the story in a bad light. I think this is the first time he's spoken of women as being effectively subhuman, though. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention.

If it makes you feel better, I don't think it's genetically possible for a man to not steal another man's food if the other man is perceived as lower on the totem pole than himself. Although as an adult it's metaphorical rather than literal outside of prison. I don't think "not stealing from a lesser man if given the chance" is a choice that even exists.

EDIT: I assume that applies to myself as well, but I've never been anything but the lowest male in any given situation (even the times where I was hired as a manager in places). All but in a few cases my "friends" made it clear that they consider hanging out with me to be an act of charity, and I better be on my ultra-best behavior or they'll make a scene telling me what a scumbag I am. There are a few exceptions, but most of the time friendship only lasts as long as I'm super grateful that they are sparing time to be with me.

I found out The Dover Boys is public domain.

This is one of the first things I can remember watching. That and the Bug Bunny episode where Elmer Fudd sends the robot after him.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Then you live in an even more profound deliberate ignorance of reality than I had previously thought. Seriously, I don't know how you function in society if you are capable of such levels of self-deception.
I am judging the philosophies and decisions you have presented in this thread. The ones I have seen look bad, and also appear to be the fruit of a poisonous tree that has produced only madness and will continue to produce only madness.

believe in one hand and shit in the other and see which ones fills up quicker. it will be the one you are full of, shit.

I wonder the same thing about the vapid, soft, sacks of entitlement that make up most (not all, most) of the people I deal with. I get an immense amount of joy from getting a new game, or hanging out with old friends, or petting my cat. A shot of good whiskey or a rare steak gives me something to look forward to days before it happens.

I don't see people like Magical Teaparty Avatar as being happy. For someone whose life is so filled with pleasure and reward and wealth, I imagine he has to get his harem girls to bring out the chocolate hose and diamond-studded industrial fleshlight to even feel anything through his jaded sense of what is good and bad.

He still moves, but he strikes me as being dead inside.

Some shitty aspects of my life I've inherited, and some I've made myself. I learn something from every shitty thing that happened (sometimes a great many things). And if the pile of things I've learned every gets higher than the pile of shit I've been handed, then watch out. I've done so much with so little for so long, one day I'll figure out how to do anything with nothing. Be grateful that I don't hold grudges against anyone who's not doing anything specifically to piss me off.

Edit: It seems my life is a source of entertainment to people. Amusing.
